PLATFORM INFORMATION
Privacy
What the platform stores when you use Workspace and its connected tools.
Account-linked Workspace records
When you sign in with ChatGPT and save work, the platform uses the authenticated account identifier to associate records with your account. Workspace stores collection identifiers, collection names, creation timestamps, and which saved resources belong to each collection.
Saved resources contain a resource identifier, type, title, link, summary, creation timestamp, and an optional saved payload. Payloads can contain prompt text and the selected model variant, learning-project content, or carousel content, slide edits, CTA choices, positions, spacing, and photo data you include in the project.
Brand settings are stored as a saved payload with an update timestamp. These settings can include brand colors, typography choices, branding text, footer text, palette selection, and spacing preferences. The Workspace API reads and changes records using the authenticated account identifier.
Storage on your device
Carousel drafts and learning projects can be stored in your browser using IndexedDB. Local storage is also used for legacy carousel drafts, learning-project fallback storage, theme preference, and saved prompt-learning progress or drafts. Browser-stored work is separate from account-linked Workspace records and can be lost when browser data is cleared.
Carousel projects can also contain an optional author name, handle, and uploaded author photo, per-slide visibility settings, the carousel name, and a progress checklist. These are kept with locally saved drafts and Project JSON exports. If you choose Save to workspace, the same project data is included in the account-linked saved payload. Carousel drafting, editing, and export run in your browser; saving to Workspace sends the project to the Workspace API.
Your saved content and controls
Save only information you intend to keep in this platform. Project payloads can include sensitive text or uploaded photos. Workspace lets you remove saved resources and delete collections. Deleting a collection removes its membership records; it does not automatically delete the resources saved in it. Saving brand preferences replaces the current saved brand settings.
Workspace provides a “Delete saved brand settings” control that removes your account’s current brand-settings record from application storage. It does not remove brand settings embedded in saved carousels or browser drafts. Retention periods, hosting-log retention, and backup deletion timing have not been established in the application information reviewed for this page.
Hosting and external links
The platform is hosted through ChatGPT Sites, and account access uses ChatGPT sign-in. This page describes the storage implemented by the application; it does not describe all data processing by the hosting or sign-in provider. Following external resource links takes you to services with their own privacy practices.
